2014-2015

The Governing Body made a significant impact over the course of 2014-2015.  Items of significance include:

• Agreeing funding for the new ICT equipment
• Increasing the amount of monitoring visits within the school
• Challenging the Headteacher on stretching the more able pupils, especially in Maths
• Providing the school with updated legislation on asbestos
• Driving forward academisation plans
• Promoting the walk to school week
• Having a specific SEN monitoring visit
• Monitoring the implementation of the Read, Write, Inc scheme.
• Holding the Senior leadership team to account at specific monitoring visits
• Agreed the funding of the new astroturf Multi Use Games Area
