At Bean Primary School we have high expectations of ourselves and clear ambitions for each pupil. We appreciate the high calling teaching is and the privilege we have in engaging with our pupils day-to-day. In order to sustain and enhance our involvement in developing teachers and would-be teachers, we are keen to hear from members of our community considering entering this profession and joining a high achieving and dynamic workforce. If you have a family member considering entering this profession and would appreciate a friendly chat or are considering work experience, please ask them to contact Mrs Carney for an informal conversation about the many benefits of teaching - and changing the world.

Christmas Fayre

Congratulations to all the staff and children for making the Christmas Fayre a success again this year. In the run up to Christmas, children made a variety of bespoke Christmas decorations or gifts which they then sold or purchased. A traditional game was also developed and run by the children which provided a sense of nostalgia to the event.
Nativity

Congratulations to all the children in England, Ireland and Italy Class who participated in this year’s Nativity performance. The singing, narrating, dancing and acting was excellent and certainly put the audience in the Christmas mood. Well done to the staff members in supporting the pupils to achieve such a spectacle.
Thank you for your donations to UNICEF which totalled - £139.
